Babymetal are going big in 2026. The Japanese metal phenomenon have announced their North and South American leg of the Fox Day World Tour, a 20-date North American run with Halestorm and Violent Vira in support — and the venues are not small.
Petco Park opens it August 30 in San Diego. The tour closes at Sacramento's Aftershock Festival on October 3. In between: Ball Arena in Denver, Huntington Bank Pavilion in Chicago, RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto, PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey, Jiffy Lube Live in Virginia, and a stop at Louder Than Life in Louisville on September 19. This is an amphitheater tour. These aren't club dates.
The Fox Day World Tour
Babymetal's Fox Day celebration — April 1, the band's annual holiday built around their lore — arrives this year in the form of a major international campaign. The North American dates run August 30 through October 3, followed by a Latin American run that takes the band to São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Lima, and Mexico City from late November through December.

Halestorm on Board
Lzzy Hale and company are the main direct support act for the North American leg. Halestorm are not a passive booking choice — they headline their own arena runs and have a decade-plus of crossover appeal that makes this bill work for both camps. Babymetal's theatrical, high-energy live show and Halestorm's straight-ahead rock power is a combination that'll hold the amphitheater crowd from first song to last.
Violent Vira — the rising LA-based artist who has been building a following in the rock and metal crossover space — rounds out the bill.
METAL FORTH Deluxe Edition
Alongside the tour announcement, Babymetal confirmed that a deluxe edition of METAL FORTH arrives June 26, 2026 via Capitol Records. The expanded release is available digitally and on vinyl, with the vinyl pressing featuring a zoetrope design. The deluxe adds three live tracks and remixes from Major Lazer and Jordan Fish — Fish notably co-wrote much of Bring Me the Horizon's recent output — on the standout track "from me to u (feat. Poppy)."
The original METAL FORTH already marked a significant release for Babymetal, fusing their signature kawaii-meets-blast-beat attack with elevated production and high-profile collaborators. The deluxe edition gives it new legs heading into the North American run.
